I remember during my first drive through Palm Coast, FL in early 2000 thinking how new the town was and how little was here. The setting was beautiful and the weather was perfect, but if you were looking to go shopping, you had a long drive in front of you. In the years since, not only has there been explosive population growth, we’ve added a huge amount of infrastructure, restaurants and shopping. We no longer have to make the drive to Daytona, St Augustine or Jacksonville to take care of our shopping needs or find a varied offering of restaurants….they’re here.

The reason I mention this growth is because the price we paid for building lot in 2003 has returned. Not only that, you can actually purchase a single- family home, a lot in a gated community or a luxury condo for less than you would have paid in 2003 in many instances. The setting is still beautiful, the weather is still perfect. There is a real case for value when you consider the additional community amenities that have grown up around us and the price of entry in the current environment.
